The First Auto Shows of the Year
As you may be aware, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and the Detroit Auto Show were held last week. Once the place for tech geeks, CES is now where automobile manufacturers and technology firms introduce the technology that could power the next generation of vehicles which I wrote about last week. Here are some great summaries of the event not to be missed:
- Robb Report, Top Ten Automobile Innovations introduced at CES
- Marketing Dive, Digital Assistants gave breakthrough performances at CES
- Marketing Dive, also had a report on the collaboration between Google and Fiat
Right after CES, the scene shifted to the Detroit Auto Show, arugably the most important auto show in the country. The Robb Report put together a great list of the top 10 luxury vehicles introduced there. Not to be outdone, The Verge cataalogued the new products and concept cars. And finally, if you can't get enough of cool car pictures (and who can't). Flipboard has a great photo gallery.
This is just the start of the auto shows, folks. In fact, I was just at the New England Show (more to come). But if these two are any indication, it's going to be a great year!
